My client, a highly reputable and well-established M&E contractor based in Cannock, is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

This is a great opportunity to join a stable business with a strong pipeline of work and a solid reputation for delivering quality mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

Both permanent and freelance options are available, offering flexibility depending on what you’re looking for.

Working Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

What you’ll be doing:

• Producing accurate mechanical estimates and tenders
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing
• Supporting bid submissions and tender strategy

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services / M&E
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and team collaboration
• Stable background within mechanical projects
