- Full mechanical estimating responsibility from tender enquiry through to final submission
- Reviewing and analysing specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
- Carrying out detailed take-offs for mechanical building services packages
- Preparing subcontractor and supplier enquiry packages
- Obtaining and evaluating competitive subcontractor quotations
- Producing accurate Tender Cost Reports and pricing documentation
- Conducting site surveys and attending tender meetings where required
- Producing value engineering proposals and cost-saving solutions
- Managing multiple tenders simultaneously within strict deadlines
- Supporting project and contract management teams throughout project lifecycle
- Attending post-tender and client meetings as required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Mechanical Building Services Estimating
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems and installation processes
- Experience pricing projects ranging from approximately £100K to £5M
- Ability to work independently and manage full tender lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of estimating software packages
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering advantageous but not essential
- Ability to commute to Croydon office regularly
