Are you a Mechanical Fitter, looking for a long-term, permanent and local role in the heart of Glasgow, working Monday to Friday and only 35 hours a week?

Are you looking to join a close-knit and family-feel company, offering a great work-life balance with optional overtime if you want it?

In this days-based, Monday to Friday role you will be reading drawings to prepare, assemble, and test a range of industrial equipment for use in the water industry. You will be trained on using a guillotine and press brake, working in a close-knit team of 8.

Founded 20 years ago this manufacturer have received heavy investment in recent years, with plans to double their turnover in the next 2 years. They supply their niche products into the water industry and are becoming market-leaders in their field.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter looking to settle long-term in a company they will be proud to work for, with great hours and optional overtime if they want.

The Role:

• Mechanical assembly of parts
• Reading engineering drawings and using hand tools
• Using guillotine and press brake with full training given
• Going to sites every few months to help with installations
• Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, finish at 1pm on Friday, 35 hours a week

The Person:

• Mechanical Fitter or similar
• Able to read engineering drawings
