Mechanical Fitter

ITS Industrial are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our rurally based Herefordshire client.

Monday to Friday - £15 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain mobile welfare units.
• Troubleshoot and repair heating systems and generators.
• Perform PAT Testing on site equipment.
• Attend breakdowns and client sites to ensure minimal downtime of client fleet.

Requirements:

• Experience working with welfare units, generators, and heating systems (Essential).
• Professional mindset.
• Mechanically minded.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Above-average mechanical fitting skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Plant Hire background is advantageous.

This is a temporary position initially, leading to a permanent contract following a successful three month period.

About You:

The ideal candidate should have a solid track record of working with a range of portable chemical toilet and mobile welfare units.

Experience in the plant hire sector and some agricultural knowledge will be advantageous. Some towing experience is desirable.

Your role will focus on PAT testing, brakes, hydraulics and servicing the units to the highest standard.
