We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work at a high-profile corporate building based in Bank, London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company that offers outstanding training, career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services across a modern commercial environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience working on Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and a solid understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Week 1: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Week 2: 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Alternating weekly rotation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Fault finding and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Fan Coil Units (FCUs).
  • Working on pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, HVAC systems, and associated mechanical plant.
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety requirements are met.
  • Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within commercial building services.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FCUs is essential.
  • Experience working on HVAC systems, AHUs, pumps, motors, and associated mechanical plant.
  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent).
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
