Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

📍 Mexborough
💰 £50,000 – £52,000 + 10% Bonus
⏰ 4 on 4 off – 2 Days / 2 Nights

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing business in Mexborough..

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM and preventative maintenance

  • Respond to and resolve mechanical breakdowns

  • Fault find and diagnose equipment issues

  • Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Support machinery installation and commissioning

  • Work closely with production to minimise downtime

About You

  • Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance or equivalent

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience

  • Manufacturing/FMCG background preferred

  • Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
