Looking for a company that values its engineers and doesn't expect you to spend your life sitting in traffic?

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing and well-established team. You'll work across a varied portfolio carrying out planned maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and installations on commercial and residential mechanical systems throughout London and the Home Counties.

  • 1 in 8 call-out rota - £150 standby payment per week, plus door-to-door overtime (minimum 4 hours at 1.5x rate)

  • Sensible working hours - 8am-5pm, with engineers typically leaving site between 3pm-4pm to avoid unnecessary travel delays

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, servicing, fault finding and installation work across a range of commercial mechanical systems.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

  • HIU servicing, fault finding and breakdown repairs

  • Reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs

  • Mechanical installations and commissioning

  • Working on pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, calorifiers, plate heat exchangers and water softeners

  • Servicing AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical plant faults

  • Completing service reports and job documentation

  • Building strong relationships with clients and site teams

  • Identifying remedial works and providing recommendations

What We're Looking For

You'll have experience working within commercial mechanical maintenance and be confident working independently across multiple sites.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Experience with commercial heating, HVAC and mechanical plant

  • HIU servicing experience

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and industry standards

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence
