Mechanical Night Shift Engineer

Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated by in Whitechapel. CBW are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and pays a yearly salary of £52,000 (including shift allowance) + excellent benefits based on qualifications and experience, inclusive of shift allowance.
He or she will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance to the following;
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- Escort / organise sub contractors
- Attend client meetings if required
- Ensure site log books are kept up to date
- 4nights on, 4 off
- 19:00pm - 07:00am
- Salary of £48,000 + £4,000 shift allowance
- 26 shifts holiday

- On call payment + attendance payment if called out
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
