Location: NW1

Duration: 3+months

Payrate: £30-32 PH

Time: 8 / 10 HOURS A DAY, MON - FRI

Job Duties:
The role involves the installation of carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework systems using welded, screwed, and flanged jointing methods. The Pipefitter will work on major commercial, healthcare, industrial and public-sector projects, installing pipework associated with heat pumps, energy centres, plate heat exchangers, boilers, thermal stores, chilled water systems and associated mechanical plant. Install Pre-Fabricated Welded Carbon Pipework & Screwed Pipework.

Qualification:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter within commercial, industrial or energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience installing large-bore carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework.
• Competent in screwed pipework systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Experience working within energy centres, boiler houses, plantrooms or district heating schemes.
• Knowledge of LTHW, MTHW, CHW, DHW and process pipework systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical installation practices and tolerances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site installation team.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services, Pipefitting or equivalent.
• CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
