Mechanical Project Manager

The Company

A well-established Building Services contractor is expanding and looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work across high-value Schools, University, and Healthcare projects in the Midlands.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from pre-contract through to final account, managing multiple projects valued up to £5 million. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing full Mechanical Package
• Attending client and internal meetings across all project stages – pre-contract, progress, commissioning, and post-contract
• Managing multiple live projects simultaneously, up to £5M in value
• Assisting with design and leading the procurement process
• Supporting surveying activities and overseeing installation and commissioning
• Managing Health & Safety compliance across sites
• Overseeing site engineering staff, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Reviewing and interpreting Main and Sub-Contract documentation
• Assisting with finalising project accounts

About You

• Proven background in the Construction industry as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contract Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer, or Mechanical Contract Engineer
• ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Building Services (desirable)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Solid understanding of contract documentation and commercial processes
