We are currently working with a top 20 M&E contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor delivering major commercial, residential, data centre and mixed-use M&E projects across London.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with the client, design teams, subcontractors and internal delivery teams.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover

• Managing project programmes, budgets and commercial performance

• Leading site teams and mechanical subcontractors

• Coordinating with electrical, construction and design teams

• Managing procurement, variations and project reporting

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to specification

• Client and consultant management

• Attending progress and design meetings

• Overseeing commissioning, testing and handover

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within an M&E / Building Services contractor

• Experience delivering commercial, residential, data centre or other major building services projects

• Strong understanding of mechanical building services

• Experience managing projects from £5m+ preferred

• Strong client, subcontractor and stakeholder management skills

• Good commercial and contractual awareness

• Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities

• Relevant mechanical/building services qualifications
