Project Manager (Mechanical Bias) – Leeds

About the Role
We are seeking a mechanically biased Project Manager to lead the 'cradle to grave' delivery of a large-scale residential project in Leeds centre. You will take full ownership of the mechanical scope, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of mechanical services installation design through to commissioning
- Manage programmes, budgets, risks, and resources across multi-disciplinary teams
- Oversee mechanical design coordination, installation, and commissioning
- Drive construction delivery, ensuring HSE compliance and industry best practice
- Act as primary client interface, providing clear reporting on progress and risk
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme and budget
- Identify efficiencies to improve delivery and contract performance
About You
- Proven track record delivering mechanical (building sevices) residential or commercial projects
- Relevant mechanical qualification
- Strong mechanical bias (e.g. HVAC, district heating, pipework, energy centres)
- Experience leading site teams, subcontractors, and engineering functions
- Good commercial and programme management awareness
- Familiar with PM methodologies and project tools
- Full UK driving licence
