West London | 12-Month Contract | Up to £400 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor delivering a major commercial project in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Mechanical PM to secure a long-term freelance contract on a high-profile development, working with one of the UK's most established building services contractors.

The Role:

• Managing the mechanical package from installation through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour on site.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
• Attending client and main contractor meetings.
• Managing procurement schedules and material deliveries.
• Overseeing quality assurance, commissioning activities, and final snagging works.
• Producing regular progress reports and programme updates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Previous experience working for an M&E contractor is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services installations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMSTS and CSCS certification required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
