I'm working with a specialist MEP contractor delivering high-quality mechanical building-services projects across London, and they're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to take ownership of projects from concept and handover right through to commissioning, completion and defects close-out.

You'll be managing projects ranging from £250k to £2m, working across some great commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes throughout London.

You'll have real responsibility for programme, procurement, coordination, delivery, quality, client relationships and project close-out, with the support of an experienced team around you.

And with up to £70,000 + all London travel covered, this is a seriously attractive opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level.

The Role

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you'll take ownership of your projects from concept/handover through to final completion.

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing mechanical building-services projects from pre-start through to completion
• Developing and managing project programmes, procurement schedules and short-term lookaheads
• Leading project mobilisation and coordinating resources, logistics and site requirements
• Managing Project Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
• Coordinating design information, technical submittals, RFIs and approvals
• Monitoring programme, productivity, quality and project progress
• Working closely with clients, consultants, main contractors and internal teams
• Identifying and escalating project risks, delays and changes
• Managing testing, commissioning, snagging and handover
• Ensuring O&M information and as-built documentation is completed
• Providing clear project reporting and maintaining strong project controls

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
• Strong mechanical building-services background
• Experience delivering commercial fit-out, refurbishment or similar MEP projects
• Experience managing projects from £250k-£2m+
• Strong understanding of programmes, procurement and project delivery
• Confident managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Relevant mechanical / building services / construction qualification or equivalent experience
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Strong IT and project management systems experience
• Dalux, Asta, MS Project, Revit or Navisworks experience advantageous
