An established and growing engineering business is looking to recruit a Mechanical Bias Service Engineer to join their team based in the HD6 area. The Role
As a Mechanical Bias Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of specialist mechanical equipment. Working both on-site and at customer locations, you will ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repair work on mechanical equipment.
Diagnose and fault-find mechanical issues.
Install and commission machinery at customer sites.
Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
Provide technical support and advice to customers.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
The Candidate
To be considered for this position, you should have:
A strong mechanical engineering background.
Previous experience in a service, maintenance, or field engineering role.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Applicants must live within one hour of the HD6 area.
