Are you an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in Facilities Management and building maintenance?

A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in Kent for an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension. You'll lead a small engineering team and oversee planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a secure estate.

The Role As the Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll:
  • Supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance operations.
  • Lead and allocate workloads to engineers, technicians and subcontractors.
  • Plan and coordinate PPM and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Support equipment including AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, extract systems, chillers, boilers and pumps.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Support contractors and ensure maintenance priorities are effectively managed.
You To be successful, you’ll bring:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Plumbing as a minimum.
  • Previous experience within Facilities Management and Maintenance.
  • Experience supervising or managing a small team of engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems.
  • Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage planned and reactive workloads within a busy environment.
