Mechanical Supervisor in Germany

The Client

OCS are currently recruiting for a Contractor who are on the lookout for a Black Hat Mechanical supervisor for their Project in Europe. My client work across data centres, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, commercial and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on large scale technical projects with a contractor with a strong pipeline of Irish work and looking to expand to Europe work.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising mechanical installation and construction activities.
• Coordinating mechanical crews, subcontractors, and daily work schedules.
• Interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitoring progress against project programmes and reporting delays or issues.
• Inspecting completed work and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Relevant mechanical engineering qualification or recognised mechanical trade qualification.
• 5+ years of mechanical construction experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Supervisory experience — proven experience supervising mechanical installation, maintenance, fitting, piping or plant activities and managing operatives/subcontractors
