Mechanical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major residential project in Birmingham on a short-term contract basis. This role will focus primarily on quality assurance, ensuring all mechanical installations meet required standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and carry out QA inspections of mechanical installations across the project
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and project requirements
• Identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain accurate QA documentation and reports
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project management
• Support commissioning and handover processes where required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large residential or similar projects
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and mechanical compliance standards
• Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Contract Details:

• Short-term contract
