• Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons across the relevant secondary year groups.

• Teach media theory, analysis, representation and media production.

• Develop students’ critical thinking, creativity and analytical skills.

• Prepare students for assessments and examinations where required.

• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and encourage active participation.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.

• Experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level is desirable.

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for media.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to motivate students and make learning engaging.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
