About the Role
This is a hands-on technical support role, working closely with staff and students across Film and TV productions, classroom sessions, studio work, live events and exhibitions.

The school are looking for someone with a genuine interest in film, television and media production, along with strong technical and organisational skills. You would be supporting with camera, audio, lighting, studio and AV equipment, helping staff and students use the kit effectively, and making sure equipment is issued, returned, maintained and tracked properly.

Relevant experience could include media technician work, AV support, studio technician roles, film/TV production support, kit room or equipment loan experience, live events support, or technical support within a school, college, university or creative production environment.

Experience with equipment booking systems such as SISO would be very useful, as would knowledge of professional camera/audio/studio equipment, lighting setups, Blackmagic or Tricaster systems, DJI gimbals, Zoom recorders, Sony camera systems, or similar production kit.

The school are also very interested in candidates who are organised, reliable, proactive and confident dealing with both students and staff. A big part of the role is keeping equipment, records and working spaces to a high standard, following procedures properly, spotting issues early and helping the department run smoothly day to day.
