The Opportunity:

ISR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in their search for an experienced Medical Insights Analyst to join its Global Medical Strategy and Operations - Insights, Digital and Analytics function on an initial 12-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career analyst with a background in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Medical Affairs, Research or Analytics to gain experience within a global pharmaceutical environment and contribute to initiatives that help shape medical strategy and decision-making.

You'll support the collection, analysis and synthesis of medical insights from a range of internal and external data sources, helping Medical Affairs teams identify meaningful themes, trends and implications.

The role also provides an opportunity to contribute to innovative approaches to insights generation, including AI-enabled insights capture, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering and AI-enabled analytics tools.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or another relevant scientific or analytical discipline.
  • One to two years' relevant experience within one or more of the following: Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical / Biotechnology / Healthcare / Medical Affairs / Market Research / Insights / Analytics /Evidence Generation /  Scientific Research
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to analyse and synthesise complex information and identify meaningful insights.
  • Good understanding of data analysis and insight-generation processes.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly through written communication, presentations and data visualisation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement.

NB: The role is based initially in Stockley Park, Uxbridge 3 days per week but will relocate to central London from April 2027 on a hybrid-working basis.
