Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Medical Records Administrator to join a Private Healthcare Organisation on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update medical and patient records accurately and efficiently.
  • Retrieve, file, track and organise paper and electronic medical records.
  • Ensure patient information is correctly recorded and maintained across relevant systems.
  • Prepare and locate records for clinics, appointments and other clinical requirements.
  • Input and update patient information on NHS databases and administrative systems.
  • Scan, upload and accurately index medical documentation.
  • Monitor the movement and location of patient records, ensuring records are available when required.
  • Respond to requests for medical records from clinical and administrative teams.
  • Assist with the transfer, archiving and storage of medical records in line with organisational procedures.
  • Identify missing or incomplete information and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with medical or patient records is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong IT and data-entry skills.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
