Are you an experienced Medical Secretary looking for your next temporary opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Secretary to join a friendly and professional healthcare team in Chester, providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to medical professionals and patients.

Previous Medical Secretary experience is essential for this role.

The Role

• Managing patient appointments, clinics and busy diaries
• Typing medical letters, reports and clinical correspondence
• Preparing documentation and correspondence for medical professionals
• Liaising with patients, consultants, GPs and other healthcare professionals
• Processing referrals and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Updating patient information and internal systems
• Providing general medical secretarial and administrative support

About You

We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary who:

• Has previous Medical Secretary experience – essential
• Is confident dealing with patients and healthcare professionals
• Has excellent typing, organisation and attention to detail
• Understands the importance of confidentiality within a healthcare environment
• Can work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced setting
• Is confident using EMIS, Docman and Lexicom
• Has good Microsoft Office skills
• Is professional, approachable and patient-focused
