MEICA Commissioning Engineer – Water Industry

About the Role:

A leading water contractor is delivering major AMP 8 clean and wastewater projects across the region and is seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to oversee on-site commissioning activities.

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration, testing, and commissioning of assets into live water and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day on-site commissioning activities.
• Produce project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports.
• Ensure timely production of commissioning documentation and work with technical teams to support O&M manual delivery.
• Oversee off-site testing and pre-commissioning by suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure seamless integration of assets into existing works while mitigating risks to service levels.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a MEICA commissioning role, ideally within the water industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEICA and civil engineering interfaces.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified (or willing to obtain).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
