We're recruiting for an experienced MEICA Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major water infrastructure project based in Swindon.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, offering an initial period of remote working during the design and pre-construction phase, before transitioning to a site-based role once construction begins.

You'll take ownership of a pumping station project from design through to commissioning, managing specialist subcontractors, coordinating multiple work packages, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full project lifecycle from design through to construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Leading the delivery of a new pumping station scheme.
  • Managing specialist subcontractors across MEICA and associated civil works.
  • Overseeing the installation and interfacing of the rising main.
  • Managing multiple packages of work, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Coordinating design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams.
  • Driving programme performance, quality and commercial awareness throughout the project.
  • Managing project risks, change and technical interfaces.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

About You
We're looking for a specialist MEICA Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering pumping station or wastewater infrastructure projects.

You'll ideally have:

  • Extensive experience delivering MEICA projects within the UK water sector.
  • Experience managing pumping station projects from design through to commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of rising mains and associated infrastructure.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners.
  • Excellent package management and project coordination skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and relevant water industry experience.
