MEICA Supervisor (Mechanical or Electrical Bias) – Water Industry


Contract Type: Contract
Rate: £375 - £400 per day

An established Tier 1 contractor operating within the UK water sector is looking to appoint an experienced MEICA Supervisor to oversee installation and commissioning activities across a range of water and wastewater treatment projects.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with either a Mechanical or Electrical bias who have a strong track record supervising MEICA works in live operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day MEICA installation activities on site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks.
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
  • Support commissioning and testing activities.
  • Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
  • Liaise with project engineers, site managers, and client representatives.
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress updates.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience supervising MEICA works within the water industry.
  • Mechanical or Electrical trade background.
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
  • CSCS card and relevant industry certifications.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
