Tezlom Healthcare Recruitment is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapeutic Support Workers to join our team and provide non-clinical support across mental health services in Central London.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting people experiencing mental health challenges and helping them achieve their recovery goals. You will provide therapeutic, emotional and practical support to service users, working alongside wider mental health teams to promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
• Supporting service users with their recovery journey and personal goals.
• Building positive and professional relationships with service users.
• Encouraging engagement with therapeutic activities, support plans and community resources.
• Providing reassurance and support during periods of distress or crisis.
• Promoting independence, confidence and social inclusion.
• Observing and reporting changes in behaviour, wellbeing or risks.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation.
• Working collaboratively with mental health professionals and support teams.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working within mental health services, supported living, community support, crisis services or similar settings.
• Good understanding of mental health, recovery-focused support and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient and professional in challenging situations.
• Flexibility to work bank shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends and nights where required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Requirements

• Degree or qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health Studies or a related subject.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Knowledge or experience of therapeutic approaches and recovery-based interventions.
