We're recruiting for an experienced MEP Lead to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sandviken, Sweden.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead multidisciplinary MEP teams on a large-scale mission-critical development, overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical packages from construction through to project completion.

As the MEP Lead, you'll be responsible for managing Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme delivery, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and technical execution across the project.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Design Teams, you'll play a key role in delivering one of Europe's most advanced data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams.
• Coordinate all MEP activities across the project.
• Review designs and identify opportunities for value engineering and programme improvements.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Coordinate with Contracts Managers, Site Engineers and Design Teams.
• Monitor construction quality, workmanship and materials.
• Ensure design issues are identified and communicated promptly.
• Support procurement, planning and sequencing activities.
• Drive programme delivery while maintaining the highest health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading MEP teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous Data Centre or Mission Critical project experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of procurement, scheduling and project sequencing.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
