About the Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Project Manager with a strong mechanical, piping and/or structural bias to join a leading engineering organisation delivering complex industrial and energy projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in multidisciplinary MEP delivery, particularly within mechanical-led building services, process, energy or industrial environments, who is looking to take ownership of high-value engineering projects from concept through to completion.

You will be a delivery-focused MEP professional with a strong mechanical or piping background, comfortable managing complex engineering interfaces and driving projects through to successful completion. You will be confident operating in fast-paced project environments and coordinating multiple disciplines to achieve programme and commercial targets.

MEP Project Manager - Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex MEP projects with a strong mechanical and piping focus
  • Manage full project lifecycle including design coordination, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, structural and specialist subcontractors
  • Oversee project programmes, budgets, risk management and resource planning
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety, quality and compliance standards
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications and design documentation
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure successful project close-out and handover documentation
  • Drive value engineering opportunities and resolve technical delivery issues on site

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or Building Services Project Manager
  • Strong mechanical, piping or process systems bias (HVAC, pipework, plant, utilities or industrial systems)
  • Experience delivering multi-disciplinary MEP projects in industrial, energy, infrastructure or complex building environments
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, installation methodology and commissioning processes
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes and project controls effectively
  • Confident working with technical drawings, specifications and site teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Background in MEP / industrial / engineering contractor environments
