THE ROLE
As an MET Strip & Fit Technician, you will be responsible for safely removing, repairing, and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components on damaged vehicles, ensuring every repair is completed to manufacturer standards and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
·Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a wide range of vehicles
·Diagnose damaged components and identify repair or replacement requirements
·Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
·Work closely with Panel Technicians and Paint Technicians to ensure efficient repair progression
·Inspect completed work to ensure exceptional quality and safety standards
·Accurately complete repair documentation and job records
·Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
·Ensure all work is completed within agreed repair timescales

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a skilled and motivated MET Strip & Fit Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and excellent workmanship.
·Previous experience as an MET Strip & Fit Technician within an automotive bodyshop or accident repair centre
·Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems
·Experience removing and refitting vehicle components to manufacturer standards
·Ability to diagnose repair requirements and work efficiently within a busy workshop
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
·Strong communication and team-working skills
·Full UK Driving Licence
·ATA Accreditation advantageous but not essential
