If you're an experienced MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician looking for your next opportunity, this role offers excellent earning potential with an OTE of £60,000+ and a basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000+ DOE. You'll work as part of a skilled Bodyshop team, using your mechanical, electrical, and trim expertise to help restore vehicles to a high standard.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, you'll benefit from a consistent 45-hour working week with no weekend working specified. The ability to carry out Panel Beating would be a distinct advantage, giving you the opportunity to use a broader range of body repair skills and add even more value within the workshop.

THE ROLE
As a MET Technician, you'll be responsible for the removal, repair, and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim components during the vehicle repair process.

Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim strip and refit work on accident-damaged vehicles.
·Removing and replacing damaged components in preparation for body and paint repairs.
·Diagnosing issues with mechanical and electrical systems following vehicle damage.
·Reassembling vehicles correctly following structural and body repairs.
·Carrying out functional checks to ensure components and systems operate correctly.
·Working closely with Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians, Estimators, and other workshop colleagues.
·Ensuring repairs are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
·Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

ABOUT YOU
This opportunity would suit an experienced MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician / Vehicle Strip & Fit Technician / Vehicle Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
·Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim knowledge.
·Experience with vehicle strip-down and refit procedures.
·Good understanding of modern vehicle repair methods and systems.
·Ability to carry out Panel Beating would be advantageous.
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled workshop team.
·A full UK driving licence.
