MET Technician Required for a Busy, Modern Bodyshop in West London.

Pay: £34,000-£40,000.00 per year

The successful candidate will play a vital role in repairing and restoring vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship. Duties

• Conducting mechanical repairs and assessments on vehicles, including diagnosing issues and implementing solutions
• Using hand tools and power tools to remove, repair, or replace vehicle components with precision
• Performing heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
• Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Assisting with vehicle preparation for delivery or further repairs as required
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during repair processes
• Ability to strip & refit without supervision

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MET Technician or similar role within an automotive bodyshop environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair or MET work are desirable but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
