- Safely dismantle and reassemble vehicles following repair estimates and manufacturer guidelines
- Refit and reconnect electrical, mechanical, and trim components with precision
- Support inspection processes by identifying additional damage or parts needs during repairs
- Ensure all repairs meet high technical and cosmetic standards
- Check parts availability, estimate matching, and handle unused components appropriately
- Conduct quality assurance checks and safety tests to ensure vehicle integrity
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Identify and report discrepancies or additional repair requirements
- Support the workshop team to achieve efficiency in workflow and meet deadlines
- Follow health and safety policies, use PPE correctly, and uphold safe working practices at all times
- Minimum of three years’ experience in vehicle dismantling and reassembly within an accident repair environment
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Ability to interpret repair methods, estimates, and technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of health and safety responsibilities in the workshop
- IMI accreditation in MET is highly desirable
- Experience working in bodyshops or accident repair centres is advantageous
- Familiarity with modern vehicle systems and manufacturer repair procedures is preferred
