We are currently recruiting for the position of MET Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable accident repair group based in Canterbury, Kent. This is a prime opportunity for experienced MET Technicians seeking to work within a high-quality, modern accident repair environment that values staff development and technological advancement.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £56,000, with bonus opportunities, achieving an OTE of approximately £58,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 – 17:30

  • ATA/IMI accreditation training and ongoing support; ATA qualification preferred but not essential

Duties of the MET Technician:
  • Dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Repairing and replacing panels on vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Working efficiently and effectively both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrating a sound understanding of vehicle repair processes and safety standards
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technical advancements in vehicle repair
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician within the vehicle accident repair industry
  • Ability to work within a team environment with a positive attitude
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Main dealer and bodyshop experience is preferred
  • ATA qualification is a plus, but not essential
  • Flexibility to adapt to the team’s needs and work to high standards
