MET Technician

Benefits for the successful MET Technician:
- Up to £45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:45 pm
- Optional overtime on Saturdays, paid at time and a half
- 20 days annual holiday plus 1 day per year served, up to 25 days

- Conduct mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs
- Dismantling, fault diagnosis, and re-assembly with replacement parts when necessary
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure quality and safety standards
- Identify faults or potential hazards and advise accordingly
- Road test vehicles as required, ensuring safe and legal procedures
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a MET Technician
- Full relevant qualifications preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- ATA qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
