We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join a reputable accident repair group in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is a prime opportunity for an MET Technician looking to progress their career within a modern, well-equipped bodyshop. Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Conduct removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles
  • Complete repairs following manufacturer methods and repair standards
  • Diagnose and replace damaged vehicle components as necessary
  • Support Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) repairs and calibration
  • Maintain accurate repair records and job documentation
  • Ensure workshop cleanliness, safety compliance, and organisation
  • Collaborate with the bodyshop team to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
Requirements of a MET Technician:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician, or Vehicle Technician within a bodyshop environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Relevant qualifications (ATA, NVQ, IMI, or equivalent) preferred but not essential
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Full UK Driving Licence
