This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MET Technician seeking a role with a reputable employer that values technical expertise and staff development. Duties of the MET Technician include:
  • Conducting mechanical repairs and bodywork operations on allocated vehicles
  • Dismantling, fault diagnosis, and testing
  • Reassembling vehicles with new parts as required
  • Carrying out inspections and testing to ensure safety and quality standards
  • Identifying faults and recommending necessary repairs
  • Road testing vehicles when necessary, following safety and legal guidelines
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout all procedures
Requirements for the MET Technician position:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician in a professional environment
  • Ability to perform mechanical repairs and diagnostics accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to develop further within the role
