We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a reputable accident repair specialist in Southport. Duties of an MET Technician:
  • Strip and rebuild the mechanical, electrical, and trim components of vehicles to high standards
  • Conduct four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Ensure vehicles are protected during repair with appropriate safety equipment as an MET Technician
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, vehicle damage assessors, and the production team to maintain smooth workflow
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including COSHH and PPE requirements
  • Work with electric vehicles using relevant technical knowledge and skills
Requirements of an MET Technician:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician or Auto Electrician with a recognised industry qualification such as IMI/ATA
  • Strong experience working within a bodyshop environment
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality work and customer service excellence
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Southport, working Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week. The role offers excellent opportunities for career progression within a growing organisation committed to staff development and quality service.
