Duties of the MET Technician:
  • Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and in accordance with manufacturer methods
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and conducting necessary repairs
  • Working with the latest technology and equipment to ensure quality and compliance
  • Liaising with colleagues to support efficient repair processes
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
  • Supporting team operations by multi-tasking during busy periods
  • Following job card instructions precisely to meet manufacturer and company standards
Requirements of the MET Technician:
  • Recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or working towards an IMI qualification; individuals with strong experience in vehicle body repair/strip and fit will also be considered
  • Vehicle Technician interested in specialising in body repair and strip fitting
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Capacity to prioritise workload effectively as the MET Technician
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential
