We are currently seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our reputable client's team in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to grow within a well-established organisation that values technical excellence and commitment to quality.

  • Competitive basic salary from £48,000 to £52,000, depending on experience
  • Overtime paid at premium rates
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 7am to 5pm
  • Saturday work on a 1 in 3 rota, scheduled as overtime

Duties of the MET Technician:
  • Conduct maintenance and repair work on a diverse range of vehicles following manufacturer guidelines
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
  • Perform Auto Electrician tasks and other Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim repairs
  • Complete all work within designated timeframes, maintaining high quality standards
  • Keep detailed records of all work undertaken
  • Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements of the MET Technician:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities and technical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship
  • Flexibility to work scheduled overtime and Saturday shifts
