Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Perform mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles
  • Conduct dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Reassemble vehicles with new parts as necessary
  • Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards
  • Identify faults or work required for safety and efficiency
  • Road-test vehicles safely and legally to confirm roadworthiness
Requirements of a MET Technician:
  • Previous experience as a MET Technician in a busy bodyshop environment
  • Attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • NVQ or ATA qualifications preferred, but time-served individuals will also be considered
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet deadlines
