We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a leading accident repair franchise in Manchester. Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Removal and refit of vehicle components to manufacturer standards, ensuring quality workmanship
  • Inspection for additional damage and effective communication with the Vehicle Damage Assessor
  • Safe storage and handling of displaced parts for reinstallation as a MET Technician
  • Accurate reassembly and alignment of vehicles following repairs and repainting
  • Adherence to health and safety policies while maintaining tools and equipment
  • Ensuring all repair work meets quality standards and industry regulations
Requirements of a MET Technician:
  • Level 3 / ATA / IMI qualification (essential)
  • Proven experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim disciplines within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to repairs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Welding or panel repair experience is advantageous but not essential
