We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable accident repair specialist based in Coventry, Warwickshire, seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their expanding team. Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components in accident repairs
  • Conducting four-wheel alignment checks and repairs
  • Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient vehicle repairs
  • Working on electric vehicles and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology
  • Ensuring vehicles are protected during the repair process and all work adheres to safety standards
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout all tasks
Requirements iof a MET Technician:
  • MET Technician experience within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • IMI/ATA MET qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience with vehicle dismantling and rebuilds
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
  • EV experience is advantageous
