We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a MET Technician to join their reputable, family-run bodyshop in Crawley. This opportunity offers an excellent platform for skilled MET Technicians seeking a long-term role within a well-established team renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The successful MET Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the workshop’s high standards of vehicle repair and maintenance.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
  • Potential to earn an OTE of £60,000 with bonus schemes
  • Time saved bonus paid for hours worked over 45 hours per week
  • Standard 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, with manageable working hours from 8am to 5.30pm
  • Generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Continuity within a stable and friendly team environment with long-standing staff members
  • Ongoing technical development and training opportunities, including ADAS calibration and additional qualifications
Duties:
  • Performing repairs and routine maintenance to a high standard on a variety of vehicles
  • Working efficiently within a busy workshop environment to meet productivity targets
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Supporting the team with vehicle diagnostics and electrical repairs as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician, ideally with auto electrical expertise
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle repairs and maintenance (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Experience working with ADAS systems is highly desirable; training can be provided if necessary
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
  • Reliable, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering high-quality results
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development
