We are currently recruiting for an Automotive MET Fitter / Stripper and Fitter to join a well-established, family-run bodyshop in Croydon. This is an excellent MET Fitter / Stripper and Fitter opportunity for a skilled automotive professional seeking a rewarding role in a supportive environment. The successful MET Fitter / Stripper and Fitter will become a vital part of a dedicated team, working on a variety of vehicle refinishing and bodywork projects.

Duties:
  • Removing and replacing vehicle body panels efficiently and accurately
  • Conducting damage assessments and preparing vehicles for repair work
  • Using welding and other relevant tools safely and effectively
  • Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout repairs
  • Working in accordance with health and safety protocols
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of the workshop on a daily basis
  • Collaborating with team members to complete jobs within agreed timeframes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive MET Fitter / Stripper and Fitter
  • Ideally ATA certified, although equivalent experience will be considered
  • Able to commute reliably to Croydon
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Passionate about delivering quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and team player mindset
