Location:           Scunthorpe DN16
Hours:              Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4pm (36.5 hours per week)
Rate:                £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (£16.00 - £18.00ph)
Contract:           Permanent (after an initial 3 month probation period via agency)
  About the Role  
We are looking for an experienced Metallurgy Technologist to join the Materials team of a leading local employer.
 
Your role will include:
 
·         Metallurgical testing and analysis of metal products.
·         Meeting customer deadlines
·         Managing your processes effectively to ensure testing and release is done to schedule
·         Issue investigation

  What We’re Looking For

• A background in materials science or metallurgy
• Experience working within ISO9001 / ISOIEC17025
• Understanding of lean manufacturing/six sigma techniques
• A valid UK driving licence
