Metallurgy Technician

The Metallurgy Technician will be responsible for:
- Conducting cross-sectional analysis of welded and brazed joints.
- Preparing samples using cutting and grinding equipment.
- Inspecting welds and components using microscopes and test equipment.
- Producing analysis reports and documenting findings.
- Auditing incoming materials and supplier certification.
- Supporting quality investigations and process improvement activities.
The Metallurgy Technician will have:
- Experience working with welding processes, ideally MIG welding.
- A practical understanding of metal joining and weld quality.
- Experience inspecting or assessing welded components.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with Engineering and Quality teams.
