Midweight Interior Designer
Align Talent Ltd.
Midweight Interior Designer
Location: Kilburn, London
Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per annum (Dependent Upon Experience)
If your favourite part of interior design is bringing a scheme to life through beautiful furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting and decorative detail, this could be a brilliant next move.
A highly regarded London interior design studio is looking for a Midweight Interior Designer with a strong FF&E focus to join its team, working on exceptional high-end residential interiors.
The studio creates sophisticated, deeply considered homes where the quality is evident in every detail. Think bespoke furniture, specialist finishes, beautifully layered fabric schemes, custom lighting, artwork, accessories and pieces sourced from exceptional makers and suppliers.
These are interiors designed for discerning private clients, with a level of finish where proportion, texture, colour and materiality really matter. Schemes feel elegant and luxurious without becoming generic, with each project developed around the individual property and client.
For an FF&E-focused designer, there is a huge amount to get excited about. You’ll be researching and sourcing beautiful pieces, developing furniture and fabric schemes, working with specialist suppliers, designing bespoke items and helping take projects through procurement, installation and final styling.
There is still an element of drawing and spatial design, but this is not a heavily technical position. The emphasis is firmly on somebody with a refined eye who understands how to develop and deliver outstanding FF&E schemes.
