📍 Smethwick 💷 £16.50 per hour 📅 Temporary Position Until the End of August ⏰ Monday to Friday | 7:00/8:00am - 5:00/6:00pm

The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator on behalf of our well-established client based in Smethwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator to join a busy and professional workshop environment, working on a variety of fabrication and welding projects. If you are confident reading engineering drawings and producing high-quality welds, we would like to hear from you.

As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, your duties will include:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Measuring, preparing, cutting, and grinding materials
• Tacking and completing MIG welds to specification
• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Producing accurate and high-quality fabrication work
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

To be successful in this role, you should have:

✅ Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience

✅ Ability to read and work from technical drawings

✅ Strong attention to detail and quality standards

✅ Excellent timekeeping and attendance record

✅ Good communication skills

✅ A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
