Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily using MIG techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. Duties

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal components with precision and consistency
• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete fabrication tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
• Work with sheet metal, ensuring proper cutting, shaping, and fitting for assembly
• Conduct basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths skills to ensure accuracy
• Assist with the fabrication of components through cutting, grinding, and assembly processes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues during fabrication processes
• Experience with assembly processes is advantageous
• Relevant certifications or training in welding techniques are preferred but not essential
